I’ve been tearing around for the past few weeks trying to get everything ready for planting and then actually planting things–a million seeds and a few dozen tiny annuals. I’ve spent far more on soil this year than plants, but it’s necessary when the soil here around the lake is full of clay and rocks. I’m all done now but for three delphiniums (winter toll, so sad) and two tomatoes. It’s still early here in the northland, but a few stalwarts have made their appearance!
This is my beloved Delft Blue lilac–it’s third year and finally it has bloomed in full!
