Here’s a glimpse of what it’s been like for the past three days in Minneapolis! It feels like Seattle. But alas, it turns later today. I’m looking out the window now at a couple bicyling by as a light puffy snow is slowly falling.
It’s rare that we can go for hikes this time of year–usually the weather is too cold or the going too slippery. But with our green Christmas this year, we’ve hit the trails every day. Yesterday it was the marshes and today it was the woods. As we started today, a very light snow began, which made it even better. It has been heavenly, so quiet, so interesting, and surprisingly colorful. Here are some of the sites that wowed us. I am ever an admirer of moss and lichen, and it’s especially gorgeous right now…like phosphorescent paint and green fur.
Hope wherever you are today, that you can get outside and feel the holiness of nature.
