I’m back at it again. Here’s my latest necklace–Mde. Du Barry. Deep lilac glass pearls, pale blue-green quartz and Czech glass, and rhinestone rondelles–in the style of a Miriam Haskell bib necklace. Soon in my Etsy shop.
This weekend, I went to the annual bead and gem show at the state fairgrounds and picked up some glass pearls and other beads of interest. Fun! It’s always fascinating to watch the scores of beautiful East Indian women in their saris buying gold jewelry, emeralds, and rubies–while their husbands watch the children outside.
Right now, I’m starting a new necklace (with tassels) out of the large champagne pearls on the right. It should be done in a couple of weeks.
PS: Amazeballs–I just surpassed 6,000 pinterest followers! How did that happen? Here’s a link to my boards if you’re interested.
