I’ve loved Sevres porcelain forever, so I decided to use that love as inspiration to create a new paper tea cup and saucer. I used a new template (it’s on my Crafts 2 pinterest board), cut out of white cardstock and then covered with pieces of wonderful dull metallic gold embossed napkins. Finally, I decoupaged on some French-looking garland wreaths. I’m liking the result. I could make a whole set of these.
I’ve done lots of decoupage over the years, but this is my first experience using napkins. They are fantastic when you’re working with complex shapes—they’re very soft, thin, and flexible. Going to get more for other projects. Try this!
